Due to company growth we are currently recruiting for an Electronics Repair Technician working Monday to Friday to join a well-established electronics company based in Stoke On Trent. Free parking and an early finish on a Friday are just of the perks with this family run business!This Electronics Repair Technician role is permanent with a salary of approx £30,000 per annum depending on experience.Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (0800-1700); Friday 8am-2pm (0800-1400)As an Electronics RepairTechnician you will be working in a small team of 5 reporting to the General Manager with responsibility for the following:
  • Evaluating items for repair and diagnosing faults.
  • Repairing and testing the electrical devices which could include Rectifiers, Power Supplies, Inverters and Drives.
  • Assist with PDU Builds, Battery Testing and Site Installations.
  • Ordering of new supplies, as per repair requests.
  • Creating documentation to support products.
  • You should be willing to attend training courses where appropriate.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience working as an Electronics Repair Technician, Solderer, PCB Assembler or similar
  • Electrical fault-finding diagnosis and test
  • Soldering skills
  • Any experience with crimping would be advantageous
  • Good IT skills to record information
  • Excellent communication skills to liase with customers regarding their products.
