Job- Production Operative

Are you looking to join a dynamic manufacturing team? Do you have experience in casting and moulding? We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our client's manufacturing company.

Rate from £12.00PH to £12.88PH

SHIFT- Monday-Thursday 1:45PM-10:00PM and Friday 11:45AM-7:00PM

This full-time position offers the opportunity for permanent employment with our client's company. They also provide opportunities for career growth and development within their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out casting and moulding operations according to production schedules and specifications
  • Monitor and adjust equipment during production to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production area
  • Manually handling plaster moulds (approximately 2Kg each) on to and off the casting table.
  • Controlling the casting time by weighing product to meet the relevant weight specifications.
  • Use of a pallet powered mover and semi automatic scissor truck - Training provided.
  • Some basic paperwork to record weights, fills, cast times and faults etc.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in casting and moulding in a manufacturing environment beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
