As Finance Analyst, you will provide support in the ongoing development and maintenance of the budgeting and forecasting tool, whilst also developing reports.

Supporting the Senior Finance Analyst as part of the Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Support team, who are at the forefront of the change in new markets and other areas of the Business.

You will be fully embedded in the development and maintenance of the new forecasting and reporting tool whilst working closely with stakeholders across the Finance department and the wider Business.

This role will be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop and enhance their skillset within an ever-growing and supportive team.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • ACCA or CIMA part qualified.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or relevant commercial experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis, modelling, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel functions and financial modelling.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Experience working with Vena or similar software solutions such as Workday would be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining financial models and reporting in the new tool.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand Business requirements and provide financial insights.
  • Conducting various analysis and identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Creating and delivering reports and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the production of budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
  • Supporting the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes.
  • Participating in strategic projects by providing financial expertise and analysis.
  • Responding to other analysis requests from various departments to support decision making.
