About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker for a full-time position in Stoke-on-Trent. Our client, a reputable estate agency, offers whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice, serving clients in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mortgage Broker to work from a busy, high-traffic office, with mortgage cases reaching up to £500k, and an average property value of £175k.

This role offers a competitive salary of £27,000 - £29,000 (including car allowance), generous financial guarantees, pension, DIS, commission and bonuses with a total earning potential of £55,000 - £70,000.

Main Duties:

As a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, you will provide expert advice to clients on mortgage products, managing approximately 10 new mortgage appointments per week. Working alongside a professional team of introducers in Stoke-on-Trent, you'll be responsible for writing 2-3 mortgages a week, with an average case size of £2000. The role also offers unlimited access to an existing client base and full support in sourcing new leads.

With a sliding commission scale, you can expect to earn between £200 - £500 per mortgage case. This role provides great potential for earnings, with an OTE ranging from £55,000 to £70,000.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience working as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker within Stoke-on-Trent
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products and associated protection
  • Proven track record in mortgage sales from a tied, independent, or banking background
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Clean credit and compliance record, no criminal convictions
