Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Portfolio Manager opportunity on behalf of a highly progressive firm in Stoke-on-Trent.

Perfect for an ACA or ACCA Qualified individual (PQ or MAAT also considered) working in practice looking for continued progression and an excellent work/ life balance.

You will manage all aspects of your own diverse portfolio of clients from a range of sectors, providing accounts and tax services, involving more tax/ business advisory work as the role progresses.

Fantastic remuneration & extensive benefits package, flexi time, and the option of working from home 2 days per week. Part-time also considered.

The Role:

Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contactPreparation of year-end statutory accountsManagement accounts preparationPreparation of Tax complianceIdentifying tax planning opportunitiesDealing with HMRC and other third partiesTraining junior staff and reviewing their workAssisting with other ad hoc advisory assignmentsBusiness development

ACA/ ACCA QualifiedACA/ ACCA Part Qualified or MAAT also consideredExperience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)Strong accounts and tax compliance experienceBackground in accountancy practiceGood communication skills
