Senior Audit Quality Manager - Membership Organisation - Home-based Role - Circa £90,000-£92,000 plus benefits package
Robert Walters are hiring for a Senior Audit Quality Manager for a leading membership body for accountants and auditors.
This is a home-based role with no office element, with some travel to firms in your local area. As such this person can be based anywhere in England or Wales.
Working as part of the Quality Assurance Department, the Senior Audit Quality Manager is tasked with reviewing and reporting on the quality of private sector audit work carried out by this organisation's members.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working in the profession who has an interest in audit quality and who is interested in a new challenge.
This involves looking after a portfolio of accounting firms in your local area - You would visit them in turn in order to do two main things:
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing case files of private sector audit work, advising the practitioners and firms on and potential issues and areas of improvement
- Firm Advisory - Advising the accounting firm on a range of different topics, helping them to better operate and manage risks
When not visiting a firm you would be working from home writing reports, keeping in touch with contacts and planning upcoming visits.
The role comes with a salary of circa £90k-£92k plus benefits package.

The company are looking for someone with experience in commercial / private sector audit in practice, at senior manager level, who is a qualified accountant (ACA / ICAS)
