Substantial experience in leading finance teams and a strong understanding of financial control and management are also required.

Head of Finance | Social Housing | Hybrid Working | £65,000 - £70,000

Overview:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Housing Association based in Staffordshire in order to recruit a Head of Finance on a permanent basis.

Role:

Lead the Finance Team in creating effective and efficient support for the Group, as well as supporting the Executive Finance Director and wider Executive Team to meet our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Finance team and provide day to day management
Provide and interpret financial advice and information
Co-ordinate the annual preparation of the financial statements across all brands within the Group
Provide and interpret key financial data to the business
Devise plans to ensure full compliance with treasury policy and strategy

The successful Head of Finance will be:

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAEW)
Experience working in Social Housing
Substantial experience in leading and developing teams in a Finance environment
Strong understanding of effective financial control and management
