I am delighted to be partnered with a long-standing manufacturing firm based in the Stoke-on-Trent in their search for an interim Finance Director. This role will be bridging the gap of the finance team going under new leadership and we need somebody to come in and hit the ground running.

You will be reporting directly into the CFO but you will have an integral role within this company. Overseeing a finance team, ensuring all process are maintained and followed, providing heavy technical support to the organisation.

Key duties will include:

  • Development of the financial reporting function - ensuring it is as efficient and accurate as possible
  • Treasury Management
  • Management of a small finance team
  • Climate reporting
  • Group management and statutory accounts
  • Corporation tax
  • Audit work
  • All analysis work and report to Board

This will be a fast-paced, extremely important role. The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • From a manufacturing background (highly desirable)
  • Available to start mid-November
  • Extremely technically minded
