Our client is a well-established and highly regarded printing company based in Staffordshire and are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Estimator to join their team. This organization is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and delivering outstanding results for its diverse client base.

The Role

  • Provide accurate estimations, costs, purchase orders.
  • Completing orders for invoicing and entering job details onto the MIS
  • Produce technical specifications on job tickets for Production Planning.
  • Purchasing paper, ink and other consumables, when required.
  • Liaising with external suppliers, requesting prices and outsourcing work when required.

The Person

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of using a ‘print’ management information system (MIS) such as Tharstern, Print IQ or similar leading MIS applications
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of print estimating for lithographic print, digital print and finishing.
  • Experience of providing accurate estimations, costs, purchase orders, completing orders for invoicing and entering job details into the MIS
  • Ability to create technical specifications on works orders for Production Planning, materials requisitions and Production staff use
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be responsible and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and customer focused.
  • Be able to work in a team and alone, using their own initiative.
  • Be comfortable communicating at all levels.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be punctual / reliable and ready for work.

Salary and Benefits
