Bennett and Game are partnering with a leading ground engineering contractor, with a turnover of £15 million, to recruit a Bid Manager for their expanding team. With over 50 staff across offices in Essex and Bristol, our client specialises in soil and groundwater remediation, decommissioning, decontamination & demolition, site enabling, and Safeground works. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the company's continued growth and increased workload within their Pre-Construction Team.

Bid Manager Role Overview:

  • Manage the bidding process for diverse and complex projects in the ground engineering sector.
  • Work closely with the Pre-Construction Team to win new contracts and drive business growth.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Estimating or Commercial roles, ideally in remediation, enabling works, earthworks, civil engineering, or groundworks.
  • Candidates with operational experience in remediation or enabling works, looking to transition into bid management, are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, with a talent for negotiation and a proactive, 'win-win' mindset.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil or structural engineering are preferred.
