Early Years Practitioner required - Stoke-on-Trent

Academics are looking for passionate early years professionals dedicated to providing exceptional early years education and care. We are currently seeking Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioners to join us on a supply basis. Our primary schools are based across North staffordshire and our requirements will vary from daily, short and long term possible permanent positions

As a Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. You will work collaboratively with a schools team to create engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children.
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Observing and assessing children's progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and understanding of child development.
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
