Red Snapper Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Staffordshire for Investigative Consultants.

Offering a 4-6 week contract, with possible extension, at a rate of £170 per day. Full time/Part time hours can be considered.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations
  • Retrieve and review CCTV evidence
  • Identify and interview suspects and witnesses
  • Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution
  • Outside enquiries and statement taking
  • Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system
  • Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations

Person Specification

  • PIP2 qualified or time served experience
  • Previous experience using HOLMES (desirable)
  • Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations
  • Strong understanding of CCTV analysis
  • Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses
  • Experience in preparing case files for prosecution
  • Proficiency in relevant police IT systems
  • Current vetting would be ideal

The role is subject to NPPV2 vetting.
