Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair machinery in our client's factory, ensuring smooth operations and minimising downtime.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers, learning new skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on buildings and factories, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Utilise your knowledge of engineering principles to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Work with CNC machines, providing support and ensuring they are operating at optimal levels.
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Utilise your computer literacy skills, particularly in Excel and Word, to effectively record and analyse maintenance data.
  • Display strong written and numerical skills, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSE's (Grade C/4) including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Graduate with experience or apprentice trained in electrical mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with engineering basics principles.
  • Previous experience working with CNC machines is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to be proactive in problem-solving.
  • Strong team working skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Good written and numerical skills.
