I'm working with a returning client, who is a prominent professional services firm with a substantial footprint across the UK. The organisation boasts a team of over 1000 experts who collaborate with more than 10,000 clients nationwide, including global corporations, national enterprises, SMEs, and high net worth individuals. They are renowned for delivering outstanding service and cultivating long-term client relationships, and I couldn't be more excited to be working with them to find a receptionist for their office in Stoke-On-Trent.
Role: Receptionist
Salary: £26,000
Job Type: Full-Time (40 Hours), Permanent
Working Hours: Fully on-site, 08:30 - 17:30
Start Date: ASAP!
Responsibilities:
- Greet all clients and visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring they are promptly informed of their appointment.
- Handle incoming telephone calls efficiently and courteously, directing them to the appropriate department in line with company protocols.
- Maintain the reception area and meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean and meet the company's high standards.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Facilities Coordinator.
- Assist new employees in acclimating to the office environment and facilities.
- Coordinate with the Facilities team to ensure all company-wide services are executed effectively.
- Set up and clear meeting rooms as required.
- Manage meeting room reservations and assist staff with booking rooms.
- Support the Office Manager in organising and managing events.
- Maintain professional appearance standards while performing reception duties.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Facilities team and provide coverage for annual leave within the team as needed.
Key Attributes/Qualities:
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of handling challenging situations calmly and effectively, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity.
- Presentable and personable, suitable for front-of-house responsibilities.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
