Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivatedRenewables Managerto join our team. This is a key role for a skilled supervisor with a passion for renewable energy systems, offering the opportunity to lead a team of engineers while contributing to hands-on installations. Based in our Stoke office, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems, supervising engineers, and ensuring quality and compliance across a range of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of two renewable engineers, providing guidance and ensuring all installations meet the highest standards.
- PV System Design: UseEasy PV softwareto design PV systems when working from the Stoke office.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on all installations, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Electrical Certifications: Review and quality check electrical certificates for renewables installations, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Van Inspections: Ensure regular inspections and maintenance of work vans to support safe and efficient operations.
- Hands-On Installation: When needed, assist in the installation of PV systems alongside the roofing team, contributing to the practical side of the business.
- Flexibility & Travel: Supervise and support 1-2 installations per week, depending on business demand, across various locations including Stoke, Birmingham, Doncaster, Hereford, and Powys.
Required Qualifications:

Electrical Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- Gold Card Holder

Renewables Qualifications:
- Relevant PV and Battery Storage qualifications

Additional Experience:
- Experience inASHP (Air Source Heat Pumps)andEV Charger installationswould be a strong advantage.

- This is afull-time, permanent roleoffering a competitive salary between 39,000 - 45,000, based on experience.
