Stock Condition Surveyor

Job Overview:Castlefield Recruitment, are currently working with a Housing Association based in Stoke on Trent, who are looking for Stock Condition Surveyor to join their Asset Management team.

The purpose of this role will be to carry out detailed and accurate stock condition surveys on residential properties managed by the Housing Association. The role involves assessing the condition of housing stock, identifying necessary repairs and improvements, and ensuring that properties meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive stock condition surveys on residential properties.
• Document and assess the current condition of buildings, including structural elements, mechanical systems, and finishes.
• Gather and input data accurately into the housing association’s asset management system.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining survey findings, including photographic evidence and recommendations.
• Ensure all surveyed properties comply with relevant health, safety, and building regulations.
• Identify properties requiring urgent attention to meet legal and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal teams regarding survey findings and required works.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments, standards, and best practices.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in conducting stock condition surveys within the housing sector.
• Experience with asset management systems and data analysis.

You must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for this role.
