Transport Controller / Administrator
Location: Newcastle Under Lyme, Stoke
Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our Logistics client based in Newcastle Under Lyme who are looking for a Transport Controller / Administrator to work for them. Specific training is given.
Shift
- 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 rotating each week. Monday - Friday
Pay
- £13.84 ph.06.00 - 14.00
- £15.57 ph 14.00 - 22.00 shift (subject to a 12.5% shift premium)
- Overtime & Saturday X1.5. Sunday X2
Your responsibilities:
To coordinate and provide support and information in the running of safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards during your shift.
Responsible for the execution of transport plans. Controllers are front and centre of the transport operation demonstrating driver engagement and management.
- Manage Driver performance to identify any major discrepancies in accordance with the Daily Transport Plan
- Collate all feedback against plan in the daily operations log for use in plan/do/review calls
- Point of contact for all drivers during your drivers duty shift
- Review and amend where appropriate daily plan
