About Us:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with SEN and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support that addresses the individual needs of our students, fostering their personal and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Support the delivery of engaging and therapeutic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, teachers, and parents.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adjusting support strategies as needed.
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being.
  • Provide one-on-one support and intervention for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
