IT Security Assurance Coordinator / IT SAC

IT SAC with Information Assurance & Information Security experience.

Supporting the coordination of security assurance activities, working for an excellent MSP supporting solutions to comply with HMG’s security classification system. It is essential you have worked in a similar environment previously and hold security clearance of able to qualify for security clearance.

The team require someone with experience of regulatory frameworks and standards such as; NIST, ISO27001, MOD JSP440, JSP604.

This is an excellent varied role supporting the Senior Information Security Manager and will have a track record in information security and assurance. Safeguarding and protecting companies’ critical information systems assuring integrity, availability, authentication, confidentiality plus protecting information systems Data Integrity, availability, and confidentiality.

As part of your role, you will be able to examine risks to information security, putting in policies and procedures to manage risks, develop, maintain, and improve measures to manage any threats to information. Supporting junior member of the security team, coordinate the security accreditation and assurance processes, completion of JSP process, develop and support ISMS and risk management & accreditation document sets.

You will plan, maintain security compliance, monitor information assurance, annual service assessments. Support security awareness, educate and represent security on projects.

This would suit someone with a passion for security who is working towards their CISSP / CISA / CISM or similar or already qualified.
