An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer based in Stoke on Trent. This is an office-based role offering a salary of £27,000 per annum, plus a fantastic benefits package. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support for internal IT systems, ensuring smooth operation and excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone with experience in IT systems and cloud-based solutions, looking to make a tangible impact within a forward-thinking organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide Service Desk support assisting staff with IT system queries.
- Ensure incidents, service requests, and changes are managed and escalated according to SLA.
- Perform daily system checks and respond to alerts from monitoring systems.
- Manage and configure PCs, servers, and cloud-based phone systems, maintaining system standardization.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of staff, including IT inductions and training.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in an IT support or systems administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and cloud-based IT systems.
- Experience in maintaining and configuring IT hardware and software inventory.

Location
The role is based in Stoke on Trent and is easily commutable from surrounding towns including Stafford, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Crewe.
