What you will be doing:

  • Providing technical direction and assistance to the manufacturer regarding use of product lines
  • Responding to complex questions and concerns from manufacturers regarding products and process issues
  • Representing the supplier as an expert in paint technology
  • Analysing product data to provide the manufacturer with quality improvements
  • Working closely with the customers technical and manufacturing teams to support product quality
  • Preparing accurate and timely technical reports
  • Running and supporting new product trials.
  • Maintaining material stock and placing orders ensuring the customer site has adequate stock to run production.

What you will need:

  • Technical knowledge and expertise regarding paint applications in an automotive or manufacturing setup
  • Colour matching ability
  • Experience of supporting the development of new paint products
  • Good communication skills and comfort in communicating with customers.

What you will receive:

A salary of £44,500-£49,500 (dependent on experience - inclusive of car allowance) + pension, (matched up to 5%), etc.

The working hours

You will work mainly 'office hours' with some flexibility needed to be able to attend sites outside of normal hours depending on the customer's needs. There may also be some occasional need to provide support on weekends.
