Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 15:20 and Friday from 07:00 to 14:00, totaling 39 hours per week.

Quest Employment are recruiting a Mechanical Fitterto join our client's team. The role will involve setting up and maintaining a variety of machines, with a focus on ensuring smooth production and minimising downtime.

Job Title:Mechanical Fitter

Location:ST4

Salary:£30 -£32k dependent on experience

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:20
Friday: 07:00 to 14:00
39 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up machines to ensure the production of products at the correct sizes.
Responding to machine breakdowns and carrying out necessary repairs to get them operational as quickly as possible.
Perform routine machine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns.
Assist with other tasks as required.

Skills & Experience:

Strong mechanical knowledge is essential.
Experience in machine setup and maintenance, particularly an understanding of circuits.
Welding skills or basic electrical knowledge would be an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, especially in high-pressure situations.
