Graduate Design Engineer / Junior Design. Our client, a respected manufacturer based in Stoke are looking Junior Design Engineers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have recently finished a design apprenticeship or graduated from an engineering degree to progress within a respected business. Also, if you have a couple of years as a design engineer but want somewhere you have an opportunity to excel, please also apply. Please be aware: Sponsorship is NOT available for this role. Graduate Design Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet project requirements and objectives. - Conduct research and analysis to support the design process, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. - Create detailed 2D and 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., CAD) to visualize concepts and facilitate the design review process. - Work closely with the prototype team to oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes and provide feedback for continuous improvement. - Collaborate in the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations. Graduate Design Requirements:- Apprentice trained or engineering degree qualified. - Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals. - Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS is essential.Hours of Work: Monday - Friday permanent days.
