Regional General Manager, Salary: c£90-110k + car allowance + benefits including private medical & pension, multi-site regional role with travel.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional General Manager to join a leading organisation. We are keen to hear from candidate with experience in a multi-site General Manager / Regional Director or similar role from within manufacturing, engineering, distribution or Trade depot operations.

This position requires a dynamic leader, proficient in guaranteeing the smooth running of the operations in the region and spearheading significant growth. We are looking for a candidate with robust commercial acumen, who can actively put strategies into action, engage in process transformations and surpass customer expectations. You will lead with a profound commitment to safety and adherence to ESG standards.

The role:

  • Regional Performance Management: You'll have end-to-end responsibility for the region's P&L, guaranteeing a balanced scorecard for sales and operations.
  • You'll steer the strategic direction for the region, demonstrating excellent commercial awareness and foresight to spot growth opportunities, monitor market trends and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Deliver operational excellence, championing continuous improvement, driving efficiency and instigating change where necessary.
  • Ensuring key accounts are managed effectively, working to build relationships, exceed customer expectations and achieve exceptional levels of customer service.
  • People Development: create a positive working environment, leading people development and talent management initiatives across the region, creating opportunities for growth and development
  • Act as an agent of change, driving transformational shifts in service quality, cost, delivery, management, and safety.
  • Safety Leadership, ensure the highest safety standards are maintained.

About you:

  • Experience in a multi-site Regional General Manager / Regional Director or similar role from within manufacturing, engineering, distribution or Trade depot operations.
  • A proven track record of delivering operational excellence and spearheading significant commercial growth.
  • Proficiency in P&L management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • A people leader, who is passionate about developing people and creating a high-performance culture.
