Demand Planner | Rapidly Growing Business | Brand New Role | Up to £38k | eCommerce

Our Client:

They thrive in a dynamic environment and are looking for a skilled Demand Planner to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan Inbound Requirements: Forecast and plan inbound stock requirements, ensuring the right products are available at the right time to meet demand and support growth.
  • Ensure Optimal Stock Levels: Maintain optimal stock levels across the supply chain, balancing availability with cost efficiency to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure smooth and timely supply of goods. Be the key contact point for any supply-related issues.
  • Purchase Order Management: Raise and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring they are processed in line with demand forecasts and supplier capacity.
  • Maintain OTIF Rates: Monitor and improve supplier performance, focusing on On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery to maintain consistent product availability.
  • Supplier Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and resolution of discrepancies, and work closely with finance teams to maintain smooth payment cycles.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain management, ideally within an eCommerce or fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of inbound stock management and optimising stock levels.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on managing supplier partnerships.
  • Proficiency in excel (Advanced ideally) and tools like Power BI or SQL.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
