Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation (8.5-hour shifts: mornings, afternoons and nights)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a busy distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent. About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on conveyor systems and associated equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment.
Strong mechanical skills with experience working on conveyor systems.
Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable.
A strong focus on health and safety practices.
