Due to retirement, an opportunity has arisen for a maintenance engineer to join a nationwide FMCG company in Stoke-on-Trent.

This position would be perfect but not essential for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer who has experience within a food manufacturing environment. My client boasts great attrition rates and are keen on training and developing their engineers skills.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

  • Continental shift (2 days 2 nights).
  • Assist with breakdowns.
  • Planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Improving and maintaining production equipment.
  • Updating CMMS.
  • Fault diagnostic and repair.
  • Continuous improvement projects.


Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

  • Recognised engineering qualifications.
  • Apprentice trained.
  • Excellent mechanical abilities.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
  • Electrical knowledge advantageous.
  • Welding abilities advantageous.
