Shifts: 3 shift pattern (6-2 ,2-10,10-6)

ATA Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the largest automated logistics companies in the world. They are a systems integrator in the warehousing industry, they are responsible for the design, manufacturing, installation and the maintenance of all automation on their sites across the UK. Due to recent promotion they are looking for a new resident site Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Stoke-On-Trent. With sites across the worldwide and financial stability there is unlimited opportunity to progress on the site directly and within the business globally depending on your needs.

The Job

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be:

  • On a shift, you will be working on: Cranes, Conveyors, Automated Stacker Cranes, Palletisers and Robots
  • Your responsibilities include electrical and mechanical working on shift. Working alongside your shift team on allocated PPMs provided via your tablet and responding to breakdowns in a fast moving high pressured environments.
  • You will be working electrically on sensors, relays, inverters, single and three phase motors, fault finding electrically
  • Mechanically you will be working on bearings, belts, motors, gearboxes, pulleys with occasional stripping and rebuild project

The Candidate

I am looking for a candidate that:

  • Has a recognised Engineer qualification
  • Proactive and Trustworthy Individual who can be a strong communicator with the team
  • Competent Electrically and Mechanically as well as working independently and as part of a team
  • Confident in fault finding
