A growing industrial business in the Stoke-on-Trent area is looking to bolster their management team & as the Production Manager you will be the driving force behind operational improvement & development of the production team.

Description
As the Production Manager you will work closely with the senior management team and lead a production unit in delivering operational best practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to meet or exceed operational goals.
- Manage support and motivate the production team.
- Develop & monitor departmental KPIs.
- Develop and establish clear procedures, working instructions and method statements of all operational activities.
- Participate in yearly forecasting and annual maintenance plans.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
- Ensure efficient production and quality control.
- Responsible for the day to day health and safety on site with a functional link into the company's Health and Safety Manager.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Ensure compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Profile
A Production Manager with experience within a technical manufacturing/processing and the following:
- Proven experience in a managerial role and strong leadership
- Excellent understanding of operational processes and manufacturing best practices.
- HSE knowledge and a passion for embedding best practice HSE processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
Job Offer
- A £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
