We are looking for a motivated Production Manager to join a market leading company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of production within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team. The position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.Role Description

* Sole management and responsibility; to be accountable and responsible for their own and others' health and safety by enforcing Health & Safety protocols to effectively protect staff, contractors, and visitors; ensure daily audits for safety and quality are completed* Achieving site performance and quality targets through the effective and efficient planning and running of the shift.* Motivating a team of operatives through good communication, team briefs, training and development to ensure staff understand their roles and the role within the team.* The implementation and monitoring of all company processes and procedures including quality control checks and in line with health & safety procedures* Effectively liaising with customers and suppliers.* Carry out stock counts as required during the shift* Effective communication with internal departments, management with any issues* People management including return to work, holiday planning, staff reviews, timesheets, conduct management through investigation/disciplinary* Ensure that overall general housekeeping adherence is maintained* Step up responsibilities for other management colleagues as necessary
