Mechanical Design Engineer - Permanent
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in the heart of Stoke on Trent. As a leading manufacturer our client offers competitive holiday packages, excellent benefits, and a friendly working environment.
Job Description:
- Take full control of projects from contract specification handover to design, approval, and monitoring of build.
- Produce concept outlines and detailed mechanical design drawings.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements such as C.E, HSE, etc.
- Specify purchase of products and components.
- Provide support to sales, workshop, technical, and site teams.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain engineering and contract execution standards.
- Support aftermarket sales, including data entry and close collaboration with clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in design and mechanical engineering within the engineering field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor design package preferred, but training can be provided.
- Knowledge of pressure filtration and industrial processes is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
