As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving key projects managing the full cycle, overseeing the end-to-end design and implementation of innovative new products tailored to the needs of diverse clients. This role is best suited for a candidate looking for variety as no contract is the same!

Your Role as a Design Engineer Will Include:

  • Engage in a variety of electrical design tasks, including drafting design proposals, detailed schematics, calculations, validation testing, and preparing technical specifications.
  • Take ownership of projects, seeing them through from the initial concept stage, through rigorous testing, and ultimately into the manufacturing phase.
  • Collaborate with customer engineering teams to fully understand and meet their technical requirements.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, coordinating closely with Mechanical Design Engineers and Production Engineers to ensure seamless integration across projects.
  • Produce prototype products and assemblies, liaising with relevant internal and external departments to meet performance requirements and deadlines


You Will Need to Have:

  • A background in electrical or electronic engineering, experienced in managing electrical design and development projects for manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an engineering role within a relevant industry
  • Good knowledge and working experience of cable assembly, wire harnessing, electro-mechanical assembly is a must
  • CAD knowledge and experience 2D/3D (Solid Edge / Solid Works / AutoCAD / Harnware / Catia)
