The position reports to the Service Manager and involves a Monday to Friday shift pattern with a call-out requirement of 100 per month, typically covering one week per month on a rotational basis.
The role offers a base salary of £37,000, with an additional £1,200 for call-out, and potential earnings of £50,000 to £55,000 with overtime, depending on workload.
Candidates are expected to have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and ideally possess experience working with various pumps.
The job is predominantly field-based, requiring 70-80% of the time spent at customer sites, with the remainder dedicated to repairs in the company workshop.
Key responsibilities include demo-rig start-up, operation, service, maintenance, repair, and acting as a sales engineer to promote spare parts and services.

Shift Pattern: Days - M-F.

Call out - 100 per month. Usually cover one week pcm on rotational basis.

Company Transit van. Sensible personal use.

Salary: 37k base. (+1200 callout) 38,200
OT takes it to50-55k depending on workload.

Location: UK & Ire and very limited Europe.

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and ideally have experience working with a variety of Pumps.

Prominently field based so expect 70-80% of time at customer sites. When not on site expected to carry out repairs in the company Workshop.
Responsible for demo-rig start-up, operation, service, maintenance, and repair.
Able to read engineering drawings.
Expected to act as a sales engineer - promoting spare parts, general services and upgrades.

KEY SKILLS
Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience of pumps.
Previous Service engineering Exposure advantageous
