Are you a skilled secretary with excellent audio typing abilities? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity as a Medical Secretary with our public sector client.

As a Medical Secretary, you will provide vital administrative support to a busy department. Your exceptional typing skills and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that documentation is accurately transcribed and maintained in a timely manner.

Temporary position: Monday- Friday 9AM-5PM. Part time/ flexible hours considered for the right applicant.

Hourly rate from 11.44 to 12.31.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately type medical reports, correspondence, and other documents
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for healthcare professionals
  • Handle telephone calls, inquiries, and messages, providing exceptional customer service
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support efficient operation of the department
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in typing and audio typing techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
