Job Title: ESOL Teacher
Location: ST1 5ED
Pay Rate: £200 per day
An experienced ESOL Teacher is required for a long-term position at a primary school in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to help students develop their English language proficiency and integrate effectively within the school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver comprehensive ESOL lessons tailored to the needs of primary-aged students.
- Support students in developing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching ESOL or EAL in a primary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate for students of varying language abilities.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to the development of students academic and social skills.
