Aspire People are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to inspire students and cultivate a love for music, helping them develop their musical talents in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 .
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students, including those with varying levels of musical ability.
Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and expression.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Organise and run extracurricular music activities such as school concerts, choirs, and music clubs.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Music curriculum and ensure the continued success of the department.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Music or a closely related subject.
Experience teaching Music at secondary school level (ideally KS3 & KS4,)
A genuine passion for music and the ability to inspire students in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent organisational skills and a creative approach to teaching.
The ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.
