Sonic Summary

Rapier Employment is seeking 15 Class 1 drivers in Stoke on Trent with a minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving experience.
Drivers will work varied hours, primarily late afternoon and night shifts, with ideal patterns including Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday.
Hourly rates range from £19.00 for day shifts to £22.00 for Sundays, with overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours.
Responsibilities include transporting goods, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service.
Candidates must possess a Full UK Licence (Cat C+E), CPC Card, and Digi Card to apply.

Job descriptionRapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Stoke on Trent who are looking for 15 x Class 1 drivers to join them.Role: Class 1 DriverHours: Start times will vary but looking for late afternoon/night drivers.Ideal shift patterns:

Sunday to Thursday
Monday to Friday
Tuesday to Saturday

Hourly ratesMonday to Friday days £19.00 Monday to Friday nights £20.00Saturday £21.00Sunday £22.00Overtime pay: Time and a half after 8 hours dailyMinimum requirement 4 shifts per week.Minumum 8 hours paid Role to include, and not limited to:

Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
Always provide exceptional customer service.
Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving

The recruitment process will involve an initial assesment which inludes, classroom and a 2-3 hour driving assesment. This is then followed by full induction. Drivers will then be put onto a fixed rota.Requirements:
