Winner Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across Schools, Universities, Councils and Hospitals.

They are looking to recruit for a Commercial Gas Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance and minor installations for small works across multiple sites across Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Manchester, Birmingham and Staffordshire.

Duties:

  • As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites across Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Manchester, Birmingham and Staffordshire.
  • You will work across commercial heating systems including radiant and warm air heating systems, commercial boiler and hot water plant, compressed air systems and chiller pipework
  • As a Commercial gas engineer you will service commercial boilers, perform gas tightness tests, servicing of pressurised systems, and perform cold water tests
  • You will also be involved with minor installation work for small work projects
  • As a commercial gas engineer, you must adhere to health and safety regulations and compliance
  • As a commercial gas engineer, you will be part of the on-call rota team (1in6)

Candidate:

  • As a commercial gas engineer you will need the relevant qualifications e.g. Cocn1 or Codnco1
  • It would be an advantage to have your commercial Catering gas qualification
  • As a commercial gas engineer, you must have worked in a similar role and would be advantageous to have worked across NHS sites, Schools, and local authorities
  • You must have Excellent written and verbal communication skills
