We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Band 8A Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Stoke on a locum basis. This full-time position offers an immediate start with a minimum commitment of 3 months and potential for extension.

The role will primarily involve providing clinical pharmacy services on the wards, ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients. In addition, you will have some scheduled 2-hour dispensary slots as part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy support across various hospital wards.
  • Conduct medication reviews, ensuring optimal therapy for patients.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to improve patient care.
  • Manage some dispensary duties with a 2-hour slot allocation.
  • Advise on the safe and effective use of medications, including discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • Registered pharmacist with the GPhC.
  • MUST have hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
