Academics are looking for a passionate and committed Year 3 Primary Teacher to work within one of our friendly and vibrant single-form entry primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This temporary position is to cover a maternity leave, starting in November and running for two terms.
Role Details:
- Position: Year 3 Supply Teacher (KS2)
- Location: Single-form entry school, Stoke
- Start Date: November 2024
- Duration: 2 terms (maternity cover)
- Working hours: Full-time
About the Role: As the Year 3 class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the national curriculum, ensuring pupils receive high-quality teaching and learning experiences. You'll work closely with the supportive school team and be involved in planning, assessment, and all aspects of classroom management. Experience with KS2 is preferred but not essential.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (desirable)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire and engage children
- Commitment to the values and ethos of the school
