YEAR 2 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED

Academics are supporting a lovely primary school seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to work within their friendly and supportive team in Newcastle-under-Lyme on a supply basis. This is a part-time, fixed-term position covering 2 days per week from January until the end of the summer term. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating engaging learning experiences with a strong commitment to fostering a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in class
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the curriculum and school initiatives.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture, promoting high standards of behaviour.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in primary education, preferably in Key Stage 1.
- A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
