Job Opportunity: Administrator (Maternity Cover)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST1 6TY)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 9 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (37 hours per week)
Pay Rate: 12.65 per hour
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Governance, Policy, and Performance Team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The role involves providing comprehensive clerical and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering a high-quality administrative service, including word processing, data input, and general clerical tasks.
- Developing and maintaining effective record-keeping systems.
- Responding to enquiries from internal and external customers professionally and efficiently.
- Supporting the team in achieving governance and performance objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong administrative skills, with a detailed understanding of clerical systems such as filing and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, particularly staff records.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
