Isla Rose are searching for an Assistant Buyer to join an established manufacturing business in Stoke.
As an Assistant Buyer you will be supporting the purchasing team all areas of the business with direct and indirect spend. You will be supporting the team to reduce cost, source new suppliers and manage supplier KPIs. This is a hands on role which will support multiple departments to ensure customers’ requirements are met.
We are looking to speak with Junior Buyers or Purchasing assistants who have experience within electrical manufacturing or production environments. Applicants will ideally be CIPS qualified or working towards it.
Key Responsibilities
- Support purchasing operations
- Purchase goods and services to meet company needs
- Control stock levels
- Work with multiple teams
- Complete required company reports
- Supplier terms negotiation
The salary range for this role is £25k - £35k DOE.
The working week is Monday to Friday on days.
