Quality Manager
Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
Salary: £50,000
Package Details: 28 days holiday, Pension Contributions.
Working Hours: Monday Friday (40 hours per week / early Friday finish).

The Quality Manager role involves overseeing quality-related activities across the Business, working to analyse and optimise processes, assess performance, and establish cost-effective quality strategies.

Role Description.
Management of the quality department, providing the team with clear direction and support.
Collaborate with teams to understand ground-level challenges and implement practical solutions, driving tangible improvements.
Improve output quality and performance across production departments.
Utilise continuous improvement methodologies to enhance processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Act as an agent for change, driving and managing initiatives to embed continuous improvement and foster a proactive quality mindset.
Demonstrate strong leader-manager capabilities, setting expectations and actively facilitating problem-solving.
Lead and support APQP initiatives, including developing and managing Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and PFMEAs.
Provide support and insights to production teams to enhance quality outcomes and optimize processes.
Implement and maintain quality gates across production to ensure critical checkpoints are rigorously controlled.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify system and output improvement opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications.
Strong experience within a manufacturing environment.
Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Management experience.
Proven track record in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Processes.
Green Belt Six Sigma qualified (desirable).
Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
