Senior Quantity Surveyor needed for our Stoke on Trent based client.

As senior QS you will manage budget's and contractual relationships of multiple building projects.

Responsible for providing support to the Commercial and Project Team Division to manage and control costs maximising profit margin with proactive involvement in procurement and project coordination, cost management and reporting. Assist in carrying out the monthly financial reviews on projects and forecasting final accounts, cost and sales margin. Providing commercial support to project teams, maintaining, commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.

Review subcontractors invoices and application for payment putting applications on CIS Manger. . Attend site on a regular basis to check subcontractor invoices.

Pricing variations, sending out pricing enquires to subcontractors and suppliers.

Control the Variation instruction process, (VO) or change order, alteration to the scope of works in a construction contract in the form of an addition, substitution or omission from the original scope of works.
