As an Appointments Maker at KPI Recruiting Ltd, you will play a key role in our recruitment agency, focusing on building relationships with potential clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with businesses through outbound cold calls, identifying decision-makers, and booking meetings for our recruitment consultants within the Commercial sector.

To be successful in this role it requires a confident, persistent individual with a professional telephone manner who wants to grow their network and identify client relationships at all levels.

What will the role involve?

  • Build strong and effective relationships with new business clients.
  • Identifying new client opportunities.
  • Utilise various channels to identify clients who use agency services.
  • Work in close conjunction with the other Recruitment Consultants to share best practice.
  • Contribute to the growth of KPI Recruitment Ltd.
  • Make a high volume of outbound cold calls to potential clients daily.
  • Build rapport with clients over the phone and introduce them to our recruitment services.
  • Identify and speak with decision-makers to arrange appointments for recruitment consultants.
  • Maintain a structured schedule and ensure all leads are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Accurately log all client information, communications, and progress in the company system.
  • Work towards and achieve individual and team targets for appointments and calls made.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and recruitment teams on potential clients and market insights.
  • Work closely with recruitment consultants to ensure smooth handover of client meetings.

What we would like to see from you:

  • Ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Have a natural ability to persistently motivate yourself.
  • Commercially minded with high-level attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales or appointment-making roles is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, friendly telephone manner.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads at once.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Always maintains a sense of humour
  • Ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Have a natural ability to persistently motivate yourself.
  • Commercially minded with high-level attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
