The job involves a mixture of curtainside and general haulage work with both nationwide and local deliveries.
Drivers are required to secure loads using straps and ratchets, conduct regular vehicle checks, and complete necessary paperwork.
The pay rates are £18.00 per hour for days from Monday to Friday, with higher rates for nights and weekends.
Candidates must have a valid HGV C+E licence with a minimum of 12 months experience and no serious driving convictions.

Reactive Driving Recruitment are actively recruiting for professionalClass 1 drivers for our prestigious client based in the Stokearea.

Job Role

Mixture of curtainside/general haulage work.

Nationwide and local deliveries.

Utilize straps and ratchets to ensure loads are properly secured and safe for transit.

Carry out regular vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is roadworthy and legal.

Correctly complete POD's and all relevant paperwork.

May be occasional night out required.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday - £18.00 per-hour Days

Monday to Friday - £19.00 per-hour Nights

Saturday - £20.00 per-hour

Sunday - £21.00 per-hour

Job Requirements

HGV C+E licence - Minimum 12 months experience

General haulage experience

Valid Tachograph card

Valid CPC

No IN or DR convictions on licence

No more than 6 points
