Leading systems integrator seeks a Control Systems Engineer with solid PLC & HMI experience to join a professional engineering team working on a wide range of machinery based projects. The successful Control Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of automation projects.

Control Systems Engineer - Lead / Senior - The Role:

Leading the software development on one or more projects on any number of system platforms in a range of industries and system processes

Design, documentation, programming, testing, site installation & commissioning of PLC Control/Drive systems along with on-going system support

Full project life cycle

Providing customer support

Implementing continuous improvement processes
Control Systems Engineer - Lead / Senior - The Person:
-
Solid PLC & HMI experience
-
Solid background of integration solutions completing projects from conception to final delivery

In-depth knowledge of using one or more of the main PLC/HMI systems – Siemens TIA would be preferred

Ability to generate FDS / SAT documentation

Ability to understand & create control system schematics & architecture layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or similar would be beneficial

Located in Stafford, this role would be commutable from Cannock, Lichfield, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth. Ideally within a one hour commute.
