About the Role:
Position: Maths Teacher

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that caters to secondary pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as mixed Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage confidence and learning.
- Differentiate lessons to meet varying abilities and learning styles.
- Build strong relationships with pupils to inspire progress and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with the school's multidisciplinary team to support pupils' academic and personal development.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with a specialism in Maths.
- Have experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with SEMH and/or SEN.
- Demonstrate patience, resilience, and adaptability.
- Be confident in delivering the Maths curriculum to secondary-level pupils.
