About the Role: Aspire People are working with a fantastic secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a passionate and dedicated Qualified English Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality lessons that foster a love of literature and language.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, assessing their progress, and supporting them to reach their full potential. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students, while working in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging English lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to ensure improvement.
Support students' learning and development, providing additional help where necessary.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behavior.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources.
About You:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Strong passion for teaching English and inspiring students.
Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
